Tim Golden is a Republican member of the Georgia State Senate, representing the 8th District since 1998. He was previously the Democratic Minority Caucus Chairman. Previously he was a member of the Georgia House of Representatives from 1990 through 1998.

Party Switch

On November 28, 2010, he announced his switch from the Democratic to the Republican Party.[1]
